I am a legal assistant and take a lot of photos of sensitive documents, driver's licenses, passports, litigation documents, etc. and add them to "Hidden" albums. I don't want these hidden photos to be accessible on the web/other devices, is there a way to do this? If not, how do I handle sensitive photos? That is, are the hidden folders easily accessible and do they become part of slideshows, etc.?

If you turn on iCloud Photos in the Settings, your hidden photos will go to iCloud. If not, they will not show up in iCloud.
Let's look at how to check whether the iCloud Photos feature is enabled on your iPhone or iPad:
Step 1. Navigate to "Settings" on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2. Tap your "Apple ID banner" at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Scroll down to tap "iCloud" and select "Photos".
Step 4. If "Sync This iPhone" under "iCloud Photos" is toggled on, all your photos, including hidden ones, will be synced to iCloud Photo Library by default.
You can go back to tap the "iCloud Photos" off switch to disable this feature. The switch should be grey after the feature is turned off.
