When you check your iPhone storage and discover that the YouTube app is taking 15 GB or more, you need to:

• Turn off the Smart Downloads: Head to YouTube > your profile > Settings > Downloads. Look for the "Smart Downloads" option and toggle it off. Once the feature is disabled, the app will no longer automatically download recommended videos for you to watch offline.
• Delete unnecessary videos: On your iPhone, navigate to Library > Downloads to delete unwanted offline downloaded videos.
