How to Clear All Photos from Google Photos [Quick Answer]

I just recently switched to iOS and Apple Photos, so I no longer need Google Photos. I canceled my Google One account, but I can't figure out how to select all images to delete them. I can't choose 100,000 photos individually, which would take forever. Is there any way to delete all Google photos at once?

To clear all photos from Google Photos or delete all photos from Google Drive at once, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Google Photos in your web browser (https://photos.google.com/).

Step 2. Click on the first photo to select it. You'll see a blue checkmark appear on the photo.

Step 3. Scroll down to the last photo in your library. While holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard, click on the last photo.

Step 4. This will select all photos between the first and last one. You'll see the number of selected photos displayed in the top left corner.

Step 5. Click on the trash can icon in the top right menu to delete the selected photos.

Step 6. Google will show a warning message. Confirm the deletion.

If you have a huge number of photos, you may need to do this in batches. Select a manageable number of photos and repeat the process until all pictures are deleted.

Important notes:

- This method deletes photos from both your Google Photos cloud storage and synced devices.

- Deleted photos will be moved to the trash, where they'll remain for 60 days before being permanently deleted.

- To permanently delete the photos immediately, you'll need to empty the trash manually.

- There is no one-click option to delete your entire Google Photos library at once.

- Before deleting, ensure you have backups of any photos you want to keep.

- Remember, this action is irreversible once you empty the trash, so proceed with caution.
