All I want to do is transfer my photos to my PC (or external drive) for backup. Why is this such a painful task? It's an iPhone SE, iOS 17.1.1. I've tried the drag-and-drop method, but only 10 photos get transferred. I've tried the Windows photo app, but it recognizes about 10% of the photos. I can't just select all photos to transfer to my computer without a giant headache. Any tips would be appreciated.

To Transfer All Photos to PC/HDD for Backup:
