To delete duplicate contacts on your iPhone, you can use several methods, including built-in features and third-party apps. Here's a detailed guide on how to do it:

Method 1: Using Contacts App (iOS 16 and Later)

  • Launch the Contacts app on your iPhone.
  • If duplicates are detected, you will see a prompt at the top of the screen that says View Duplicates. Tap on it.
  • You can select individual duplicates to merge or tap Merge All to combine all duplicates simultaneously. Confirm the action when prompted.

Method 2: Merging Contacts Manually

  • Tap the Contacts app. Locate one of the duplicate contacts and tap on it.
  • Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner.
  • Scroll down and select Link Contacts.... Choose the duplicate contact you want to merge with and tap Link.
  • After linking, tap Done to save the changes.

Method 3: Using iCloud.com

  • Go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID. From the homepage, click on the Contacts icon.
  • Hold down the Ctrl key (or Command on Mac) while clicking on the duplicates you want to delete.
  • Click the gear icon in the bottom left corner and select Delete. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up window.

Additional Tip:
