iCloud only keeps one backup file for your iOS device. It will keep the most recent backup file. Each time you perform an iCloud backup, the oldest backup is automatically replaced with the new one. iCloud can store data for a long time. However, if you turn off iCloud on your device, it will only keep the backup file for 180 days, after which iCloud backups will be permanently deleted.
How to Back Up iPhone with iCloud:
- Connect your iPhone to a stable Wi-Fi.
- Ensure your iCloud has enough space to store the backup file.
- Go to Settings > User Name > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now.
How to View iCloud Backup File:
- Go to Settings > User Name > iCloud > Manage Storage.
