If Someone Has My Apple ID, Can They See My Texts?

If someone has access to your Apple ID and password, they may potentially be able to see your iMessages and text messages. iMessages are encrypted end-to-end and are only accessible by the sender and receiver using their own devices. If you suspect that someone else might have unauthorized access to your Apple ID, you can follow the steps below to check who has signed to your account recently:

• On an iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Devices. Here, you can see a list of devices that are currently signed in to your iCloud account.
• On a Mac: Go to System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud. Click on Manage to see the list of devices currently signed in to your iCloud account.

When you notice any unfamiliar devices or activity on your account, it is time to change your password and enable two-factor authentication to enhance its security.
