Move to iOS Is Stuck on Preparing on the Android Phone Eternally

I'm switching from an Android A20 to an iPhone 13. I used the Move to iOS app to transfer data from Android to iPhone. The problem now is that my Android says Preparing, while my iPhone says Waiting. I left it overnight, and it did not move past this screen. Does anyone have any ideas of things to try? I've Googled extensively to find a fix but can't get past it.

To Fix Move to iOS Stuck on Preparing Screen:

1️⃣Restart both mobile devices. Restarting your phones will refresh your system and may fix the Move to iOS stuck issue.

2️⃣Stop the apps running in the background. If you have applications running in your Android phone background, it will make your phone and the Move to iOS app function slower.

3️⃣Enable the Airplane mode. The Airplane mode will restrict the device and avoid interference by other applications.

4️⃣Disable Smart Network Switch. Go to Settings on your Android phone and turn off Smart Network Switch under the Wi-Fi tab.

5️⃣Change the way to transfer data. If the Move to iOS app keeps getting stuck, you can change to another way to transfer your data. You can give EaseUS MobiMover a try.

EaseUS MobiMover is a professional data transfer tool that supports across-platform data transfer. EaseUS MobiMover uses the computer as a medium to connect both your Android and iOS phones with USB cables so that you can transfer photos, messages, contacts, videos, music, etc.

Transfer Data from Android to iPhone without Move to iOS:

Step 1. Connect your iPhone and Android and launch EaseUS MobiMover.

Step 2. Choose Phone to Phone transfer mode and set your Android as the source phone and iPhone as the target.

Step 3. Select the data type you want to transfer, such as audio files, photos, videos, contacts, messages, etc.

Step 4. Then, click Transfer to start the data migration.
