I just bought the new iPhone 13, and I have almost 10,000 photos on my old iPhone X. I want to delete all the photos from my iCloud but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
To delete photos from iCloud storage on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Deleting Photos from iCloud via the Photos App
Step 1. Launch the Photos app on your iPhone.
Step 2. Tap on the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Tap on All Photos. Then, tap Select in the top right corner and choose the photos or videos you want to delete.
Step 4. Tap the trash can icon at the bottom right, then confirm by tapping Delete Photo.
Deleting Photos from iCloud via the iCloud.com
Step 1. Go to visit iCloud.com and sign into your account.
Step 2. Select Photos from the iCloud website homepage.
Step 3. Choose the photos or videos you want to delete and tap the delete button.
Deleting Photos from iCloud on iOS 17 and Later
If you update to iOS 17 and later, you can go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Recommended for You > Review Photos & Videos to delete duplicate photos, screenshots, or videos that you no longer need.
Deleted photos will move to the Recently Deleted album, where they will remain for 30 days. To permanently delete them, go to the Recently Deleted folder, tap Select, choose the photos, and then tap Delete All to remove them permanently.
