Google Photos is extraordinary for photo storage. It automatically backs up photographs and movies to the cloud using the "Backup and Sync" feature and offers 15 GB of free cloud storage space.

However, not everyone wants this type of backup for various reasons. For instance, turning off Google Photos backups is a straightforward process if you're looking to save your limited storage space. Let's walk through the steps together.

👍For iPhone/iPad: Launch Google Photos on your iOS device/iPad > sign in to your Google account > click the Profile Picture icon at the top-right of the app > scroll down to click Photos Settings > click Backup and Sync > disable this feature.

👍For Android: Launch Google Photos on your Android device > click Profile Picture > click Photos Settings > click Backup and Sync > turn it off.

While turning off Google Photos backups can indeed free up more storage space, it may also make it inconvenient for you to access newly added photos. If this is a concern for you, consider EaseUS MobiMover. This tool not only offers a solution to your cloud storage, but also introduces a new feature, iCloud Manager, designed to transfer data from Google Cloud to Google Cloud or iCloud.

As the name suggests, it also can help users efficiently manage their iCloud by modifying their iCloud Photos, Videos, Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders.
