Does iCloud Send Emails about Storage

I am wondering if iCloud sends emails about storage status. I have not received any notifications despite my storage being close to full. I have checked my inbox and spam folder, but there are no messages. Can anyone confirm if iCloud sends such emails or suggest a solution? Thank you.

Yes, iCloud does send emails about storage when your storage is almost full or when there are changes to your storage plan. If you are not receiving these emails, you may want to check your email settings and make sure that notifications from iCloud are not being filtered into a different folder or marked as spam. Additionally, you can log in to your iCloud account and review your storage settings to ensure that your email address is correctly configured to receive storage-related notifications.

If your iCloud storage is full, you can export iCloud data to computer for backup. Here you can make it with EaseUS MobiMober.

iCloud can send emails about various events and activities related to your Apple ID and iCloud account, including:

Storage and Backup: You may receive emails from iCloud regarding your storage usage, backup status, or notifications about reaching or exceeding your storage limit.

Device Backups: iCloud may send emails to inform you about the status of your device backups, such as successful backups, backup failures, or reminders to back up your data.

Account Management: Emails related to account management, such as account verification, two-factor authentication setup, or changes to your account information, may be sent by iCloud.

Family Sharing: If you use Family Sharing, iCloud may send emails about shared purchases, app downloads, or requests for approval for purchases by family members.

iCloud Services: Updates, features, or changes to iCloud services, such as iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, and iCloud Mail, may trigger emails to inform users about these developments.

Account Security: iCloud may send emails to alert you about any unusual sign-in activity, password changes, or security-related events to help you secure your account.

Payment and Billing: If you have a paid iCloud storage plan, you may receive emails about payment confirmations, billing updates, or upcoming subscription renewals.

If you don't bother paying iCloud for more extra storage, it is advised to backup your iPhone data to a computer, USB drive or external hard drive. Here of course you need a third-party tool to enable you do this due to iOS data restrictions. EaseUS MobiMober is coming to help.
