I use an iPhone 12. When I use the Family Sharing feature, it asks me to subscribe. What should I do? How do I share Apple Music with my family on my iPhone?

To share Apple Music with your family on your iPhone, follow these steps:

Step 1. Open the Apple Music app and tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

Step 2. Go to "Account Settings" and then tap on "Manage Family".

Step 3. Tap on "Family Sharing" and then "Add Member."

Step 4. Enter the email address associated with the Apple ID of the family member you want to add.

Step 5. Send the invite to that person.

Some important things to note:

  • You need to have a Family subscription plan for Apple Music, which costs $16.99 per month instead of the $10.99 for an individual plan.
  • You can share Apple Music with up to 6 family members total (including yourself).
  • All family members need to have their own Apple ID.
  • The family organizer (you) will be responsible for paying for all subscriptions and purchases made by family members.
  • Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you use for Family Sharing and Media & Purchases.
  • If you currently have an individual plan, you'll need to upgrade to the Family plan in your subscription settings.

By setting up Family Sharing for Apple Music, all invited family members will be able to access the full Apple Music library and features using their own accounts.

Since you should pay for Family Sharing, there is a better way to share music between iPhone devices. Apply the free iPhone transfer software - EaseUS MobiMover. It can transfer downloaded music to another iOS device or computer.
