I recently found myself in a situation where I needed to capture a full webpage on my iPhone, but didn't know how to take a long screenshot. It was frustrating not being able to capture all the content at once.
As of iOS 13 and later, Apple introduced a native feature that allows users to take a long screenshot, also known as a scrolling screenshot, on an iPhone. Here's how you can take a long screenshot on your iPhone:
Step 1. Navigate to the Content You Want to Capture:
Open the app or webpage that you want to capture in a long screenshot.
Step 2. Take a Regular Screenshot:
Press the side button and the Volume Up button simultaneously to take a regular screenshot on your iPhone.
Step 3. Tap on the Screenshot Thumbnail:
After taking the screenshot, a thumbnail of the screenshot will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap on the thumbnail to open the screenshot.
Step 4. Tap on "Full Page":
In the top menu bar of the screenshot preview, you will see options such as "Done," "Full Page," and "Screen." Tap on "Full Page."
Step 5. Scroll and Capture the Entire Page:
The screen will automatically scroll down and capture additional content. You can scroll down manually to capture more content or let the screen scroll automatically.
Step 6. Save or Share the Long Screenshot:
Once you have captured the entire page, you can tap on "Done" to save the long screenshot to your Photos app. You can also edit or share the long screenshot directly from the preview screen.
Please note that the ability to take a long screenshot may vary depending on the app or webpage you are trying to capture. Not all apps or webpages may support this feature.
Additionally, the long screenshot feature is available on iPhones running iOS 13 and later. If you are using an older version of iOS, you may need to consider third-party apps or workarounds to take long screenshots.
Once you take a long screenshot on iPhone of important inforamtion page, you may want to backup it to your computer. Here you can use EaseUS MobiMover to transfer pictures from iPhone to computer.
