I've been waiting for an important call from my doctor about my test results, but my iPhone keeps silencing incoming calls, even when the screen is unlocked and I'm not on Do Not Disturb. It's frustrating because I miss important calls, and it's affecting my professional relationships. I need a solution to ensure I never miss another crucial call.

To unsilence calls on your iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Check the Mute Switch:
Ensure that the mute switch on the side of your iPhone is in the off position. If it's on, all sounds and calls will be silenced.
2. Turn Off Do Not Disturb:
Go to Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and toggle it off. Focus modes can silence calls.
3. Adjust Volume:
In Settings > Sounds & Haptics, slide the volume slider for Ringers & Alerts to the right to increase the ringer volume.
4. Disable "Silence Unknown Callers":
Navigate to Settings > Phone** and turn off "Silence Unknown Callers." This feature will mute calls from numbers that are not in your contacts.
5. Check for Call Blocking:
Ensure no numbers are blocked in Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts.
6. Restart Your iPhone:
If the issue persists, restart your device to refresh the settings.
