Apple doesn't provide any official way for you to see typed Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone directly. But there are three proven ways that work to find saved Wi-Fi passwords on your device.
If you want to check the Wi-Fi password on the iPhone without the help of a computer, you can log into your router via your mobile device. However, this solution is relatively complex and you need to know the router's username and password to continue. Thus, this is not the recommended way out.
While if you have a computer available, be it a Mac or PC, you can easily view saved Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone via a few clicks. Given that, here I'd like to show you two simple ways to find Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone with a computer. Whether you have a PC or Mac, you can get things done without hassle.
As PC users outnumber Mac users, I'm going to show you how to find saved Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone using a PC first. To get to all the saved passwords on your iPhone, including Wi-Fi, website, app, and mail passwords, you'll need an iPhone unlocker like EaseUS MobiUnlock.
Unlike the way of signing into your router via a browser that only finds the password of the Wi-Fi network you are connecting to, this tool enables you to find all iPhone passwords you have saved before. Whether you are within the Wi-Fi range or not, you can find all saved Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone using EaseUS MobiUnlock.
To see typed Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone:
Step 1. Connect the device to your PC, launch EaseUS MobiUnlock, then click "iOS Password Manager" from the main interface.
Step 2. Trust the computer on your iPhone/iPad and make sure the device is recognized successfully. Afterward, click "Scan Now" and wait for the password manager to find all saved passwords on the iPhone or iPad.
Step 3. Select "Wi-Fi Account" from the left pane and then you will see all Wi-Fi networks and passwords you have used before. Click the "Show/Hide" icon next to "Password" to view passwords in detail. Or click "Export" to export Wi-Fi passwords from the iDevice.
Step 4. If you click "Export," you need to further select the format you need. Here you can select a format that is compatible with popular password managers like 1Password or normal CSV format.
As its name indicates, EaseUS MobiUnlock is also an iPhone unlocking tool that helps to:
These features are quite useful when you forgot your lock screen passcode or Apple ID passcode.
If you are a Mac user, then there is no need for you to use any third-party program to view Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone. Because you can see typed Wi-Fi password on your iPhone via the Keychain Access app on your Mac, on condition that you have enabled iCloud Keychain on both devices.
To view saved Wi-Fi passwords on your iPhone:
On your iPhone:
Step 1. Go to the Settings app.
Step 2. Tap [your name] and choose "iCloud."
Step 3. Tap "Keychain" and toggle on "iCloud Keychain."
On your Mac:
Step 1. Go to the Apple menu and click "System Preferences."
Step 2. Sign in to your Mac with the Apple ID used on the iPhone, then click "Apple ID."
Step 3. Click "iCloud" and enable "Keychain."
Step 4. Launch Keychain Access and search for the name of the Wi-Fi network.
Step 5. Double click the Wi-Fi network and check "Show password."
Step 6. Enter your Mac's password as required and then you will see the Wi-Fi password on your iPhone.
Why do you want to see a typed Wi-Fi password on your iPhone? If you want to do it because you are looking to share the Wi-Fi password from your iPhone, there may be an easier way out.
If you are going to share the iPhone Wi-Fi password to an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, it's needless to check the Wi-Fi password in detail. Because Apple offers a Wi-Fi sharing feature for you to get things done. For the detailed steps, go to the guide on how to share Wi-Fi passwords on iPhone for reference.
While if you'd like to share your iPhone Wi-Fi with a non-Apple device, using EaseUS MobiUnlock to show your Wi-Fi password and then copy it to share with others is advisable.
Now you know how to see typed Wi-Fi passwords on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Actually, these two ways are also applicable in other situations. For example, if the Wi-Fi password sharing feature is not working, you can use either of the ways to access the Wi-Fi password and then enter it to other devices manually. Besides, EaseUS MobiUnlock also finds other types of passwords saved on your iPhone. If you want to make a backup of your passwords, you can export them from your iPhone to PC all at once.
